Finally, Friday Day 19
I made it. I plan to have a nice, relaxing week to work out, plan, and have fun. Today was tiring. I don't know if I ate something or took a new supplement, but my body was itchy last night, then this morning my eyes were all red, along with my face. I took Claritin, but it did not seem to help. Up too early (4:45am) but I couldn't sleep anymore.
Breakfast egg and cream cheese pancakes Lunch tuna, mayo, avocado, triscuits, ezek, yogurt and berries with flax, coffee and dark chocolate, and that was it for the day.
Dinner Chinese sausage 330 cal and 18g part of a wrap, roasted onion and red peppers ketchup and mustard piece of ezek with CC and strawberries 80 cal and 5g
Total calories 1500 and protein 100 g
Running plan this weekend
Saturday-Dynamic warm-up 2 min up and down 4 miles easy, but throw some cadence and drills in there to break things up. Maybe 30/30 sprints for miles 2 and 3 then cool down and bring it home. Workout 2 can be the gym or walking the dogs.
Sunday 8 mile run zone 2 that will take me a while to get done. I can take the dogs at the end or just warm up with them. It is easy to get 2-3 miles with them around the school. Then I need a second workout which should be yoga or Pilates. Some type of rest.
I am finding that the easiest way not to get into trouble with eating after 5:30 or thinking about cheating is to eat early, brush my teeth and wash my face, then get to bed. I like to sit here and read or type my blog. I know it is anti-social but wasn't drinking a bottle of wine alone anti-social? Of course, it was. I am working on finding things to do other than go to bed or read but it fails me. I am just exhausted. Hitting 19 days feels good. Then tomorrow with 20, Sunday with 3 weeks, and Monday with 22 for the 5am club required stage 1. It is a big weekend. The other thing I can't abide is TV. I just can't numb out to TV. I might watch some of the blue zones but I would rather read it first.
A good day to finish off a good week. I am feeling really proud and confident about my 75 Hard journey so far. I was surprised that I just changed my clothes and headed out for my 4 mile run despite itchy face and feeling terrible. Good for me. Growth is happening. I was wondering if I could do this challenge while drinking alcohol. I have tried to eat healthy and drink but I always fail. I think I also fell back on the knowledge that if I really tried I could get back into shape but this is not easy and I lost a ton of muscle. Re-gaining muscle is going to take some time.
Regarding our rent for the house. It is $700 for utilities and rent. We also get our food. That is worth a ton of money. Recently the 4 of us have had lunch everyday and most dinners in the cafeteria. That is worth at least $400/month. Tucker brings meat, salad, and other things home. It is a great deal. I might have to check out our lunch salad bar at MOS.
I am still riding the roller coaster of employment next year. I hope that my job is safe and I know there were will be changes and it will be tough but the money was really nice this year. Eventually I would like to get over here to FA but middle school has many benefits. Well I am done for today. Good night

Blue Zones -waiting
Heart of an Athlete-also need to get my Bible study going
Shoes...I really need shoes that do not have the huge cushion. I really liked my Solomon but they were a little narrow and had a built up bottom. I might return to Topo which is what I use when running Ragnars..well it is always one of the shoes I bring. I think I ran last year in Topo and the previous year. Anyway they have a racing flat style shoe and another moderately cushioned shoe. Do I really need/want to pay $100-150? The Hoka are driving me nuts.
