Rainy Saturday Day 27

Up at 6:30 to get out and get it done in the rain. Ate a quick breakfast then headed out the door to the gym. It was raining lightly but not too bad. Started out at the gym with warm up squats, cossack landmine, and single leg squat sit and up. Did some upper body and finished with Heavy RDL to get my back in alignment. 45 min then headed home to drop off and grab a dog. Out in the pouring rain for 45 min slow! 4 miles total. Shower, meal 2 and relax.
This morning I found a race in Pinkney-the Pines to Vines. It's a 55k in August (hot and humid). Boy it will be tough but great training for Ragnar 50 miles. I guess I should just go for it.
Coffee, 4 eggs-1 yolk, walnuts, fruit, flax, butter = 475calories/31g protein after workout-1/2 sour dough, avocado, cottage cheese, deli meat= 200 calories /15g protein snack zero wrap, meat, avocado, other 380calories/24g protein dinner steak, broccoli, sweet potatoes air fryer 130/2 350 Calories/25g protein
I had a nice day, but I am so tired. After lunch, I had some stomach pain on my left side under my rib. I did not feel like having dinner, especially after 5pm, but I knew that if I did not eat I would wake up at 3am starving. I did what I needed to do.
I was thinking about the last two times I tried to do 75 Hard...my mind was focused on not drinking. I bought mocktail things and did whatever I needed to do so as not to drive; that was the most important thing then. Just to stop drinking. And that is what I did for 47 days or 50 days, but I missed out on the full benefit that comes with 66 then 75 days. Campbell asked me if I was going to finish and go right back to the old stuff. I think I would splurge for a day, a weekend, something to think about. What would be the point of doing all this work, developing these habits, and then blowing it all. This challenge is about discipline. It does only lasts 75 days but shouldn't it have a deeper impact? In round 1, I spent my time thinking of when I could drink and eat trash.
I need to think about what this is all about. What do I want to have gained by the end of the 75 days? Are those last 25 days really the thing that changes everything? I am going to find out. I like the one lady on Tik Tok who said in her final 3 weeks she was raising the bar.
