long weekend and rain Day 55-57

 Saturday-I got almost 9 hours of sleep. I am still tired this morning but my body is happy. 

Today the plan is to do a long run then relax. 

The rain is waning,                                                                                                                                             the dogs are waiting,                                                                                                                                         it is time to run.

Plan is to do mobility, 100 KB swings then head out the door for an hour and 20 minutes which will hopefully be about 8-9 miles. The miles don't really matter. The more important thing is to stay in zone 2. I wish I had a nice 6 mile loop like in Lincoln. Around here I just have to keep thinking which way to turn. Take the dogs to the school for 3 miles. Then loop around and out to the fairgrounds? I don't know. 

Workout-

started with 15 minutes of mobility and 100 KB swings, ran with dogs for 2 super slow miles in the rain (of course!), then headed out for the Maple st. loop then to the welcome center (adds a mile to the loop) back through town, up and down roads, back to FA a loop Pine-trail-Stuart-home. 8.75 miles with a fast finish before the 15 min cool down. My hamstring felt really good

Breakfast 3 eggs-1yolk toast with cc/strawberry and coffee                         300calories   20g protein     Post-run  burger/cheese/bun, V. bloody mary, protein pudding nana            800 calories  55g protein

snack coffee, ezek Cc/strawberry, toast with pc                                             300 calories 12g protein 

cheese from pizza, burger meat, 6 chicken wings                                          800 calories /65 g protein 

2200 calories and 150g protein Although this is a high number of calories, I was still in a deficit because I burned at least 800 calories. I am feeling pretty full right now and definitely overindulged because tasting something different was excellent. I am exhausted but happy with my workout. 

I was a little annoyed today when Tucker brought home donuts that were made this  morning. It looked amazing but why would he tell me to eat it? I am sure he just wanted me to enjoy the deliciousness of the treat. It is not a big deal. I am learning to say that more often because it is true. There is no need to get upset about anything...really. Don't care too much about things because most of them workout. This week I have a chance to monitor my apprehension about lacrosse. They are home on Tuesday and away on Thursday. It will be an opportunity to stay calm and trust. 

I am looking ahead to the possibility of running the 55k in MI. 

Sunday-Day 56 completion of 8 weeks and less than 20 to go. 

Woke up with pain in my deep core pelvic region. I tried to wait it out but it kept spasming so I took ibuprofen then had to take a hot shower to get it to calm down. This always seems to happen when I take estadiol. I could not get back to sleep, so I was up at 5am. I had coffee and breakfast then walked the dogs and did my weight lifting which was a little weak. 

Breakfast-4 eggs-1yolk, 2 bread with cc/fruit, burger, bun, cheese              750 calories /55 g protein    lunch bread, deli meat, mayo, filthy bloody mix                                          460 calories/20g protein

Too much bread today, but we are out of veggies and real meal stuff. I am so tired and when I am tired, I eat. Right now I want to eat, but there really isn't anything healthy or within my diet parameters. I found another thing to do for the next 20 days

day 57 Monday Memorial Day

It is sunny out (finally). Had to get up early to help Tucker prepare for their road trip to Foxboro stadium to watch the NCAA Division 1 lacrosse championship game. He made egg sandwiches for all the boys. 

I had 3 eggs and ezek with CC plus 1/2 dug out small bagel                          500 calories 25g protein 

post run 2 chick/apple sausage, cottage cheese w/mustard and saurkraut     400 calories 38g protein       another meal 2 eggs-1 yolk, tomatoes and feta protein coffee                      200 calories 20g protein 

Run 6 miles including a progression run sort of the last 10 min was supposed to be a 6:40-49 pace but the notes said no sprinting-just a challenging pace. Well today on tired legs, my challenging pace was a 7:14. That was all I could give today. My legs were tired, my tummy hurt, and I was just doing my best. Trying to figure out our vacation in Michigan now that Tucker thinks the lacrosse playoffs will interfere. 

I listened to the meditation. I don't know what my wound is. The more I listen to the different things, the more I am unsure if this attachment theory has any validity. I am close to dismissive because I love my freedom and my time, but there is a little of the fearful attachment and Mom is probably the anxious attachment because Bebe is like me with her stoic nature and good time.
