Week 7 moving into the 30 days to go mark
It was a nice weekend once we got past all the rain. Tucker had a rainy lacrosse game Friday followed by another on Saturday. After the game the sun came out and dried up all the flooding from the previous week of non-stop rain. Saturday I watched the game then took Campbell to Lincoln to grab her prom dress and to clean up the mess Cannon left in his attempt to clean the fridge. Returned to FA, had dinner, and I went directly to bed asleep by 8:45. My long run was perfectly slow with the sun rising and a light breeze. I found a worship playlist for the second half and it really had me flying. I have been reminded of my purpose in teaching. It is not about the money but the mission. Being a positive influence for these students and attempting to help them see the world as it is. My big question: how do I teach science classically? My job security for next year is a little better than 50/50. I can't say anything until I have the contract in hand. If I do keep my job, I think we are set to have a 10% increase which will be nice. Considering my jump in level and the increase, I think it amounts to $7000 more.
I have been thinking-especially when the PB oatmeal chocolate chunk cookies were handed out-that since I have not been following 75 Hard religiously, I can just skirt the edge and be fine. What does that mean?
Food
Breakfast 2 eggs, 2 pieces of canadian bacon, ezek cc/jelly 300 calories 27g protein lunch sm. banana protein pudding w/ berries, chicken, salad, apple 400 calories 35g protein dinner 2 sausage, veggies, evoo, cottage cheese, ezek with pc/honey 500calories 37g protein after run club chicken salad and 2 pickles 200 calories 15g protein
total 1400 calories 114g protein
As usual I feel like I ate way more because each time I eat, I am so full. I guess this is correct. My bad that I ate the chicken salad at 7:30. Oh well. I do not want to wake up hungry in the night which I have not done in a very long time. Note to self-my butt is flat, and my arms do not have definition.
This week run plan-
Monday-10k at school and run club is tonight at 5:30. I guess I can go and just go slow. Learn more about the movement class. I did not go slow. The workout was 4x400 fast with 90 seconds of rest. I ran but held back. It was nice but my legs are toast. I guess it is super easy run in the morning and walk after school.
Tuesday-45 minutes easy and lift heavy in the AM-begin 30 days of reading a proverb a day
Wednesday-easy
Thursday-goal pace run warm-up 20 min at 7:30 pace-would it be better to do this on the track? I could always start with a loop around campus and then add in the track. The total mileage should be about 2.7 so 10+laps. I could warm up out toward Maple street then return that is 1.5 then hit the track.
Friday-easy
Saturday-Lift and easy run
Sunday -Long run 9-10 miles
I need to find an ultra training guide. Although I feel like my current plan is working with my work schedule and 75 Hard requirements.
