weekend 7 days 48 and 49
Saturday-
Last night Tucker headed off to his first prom. It almost went down without a hitch. His suit coat was too big (we forgot to try it on when we got home). We still don't know if we bought the wrong coat or if he lost that much weight since Lacrosse season began. My guess is that most of the boys were wearing tuxedos or skinny fit suits and his is a classic fuller suit. He was upset but made it through the frustration. After the kids left we three planned to go to TJMaxx and grocery store. Well the car we just spent $1400 to fix dropped the transmission or something. We are back to one car that runs well. I guess we need to get another one? Not sure what to do the bills are piling up.
I was thinking about how quickly everything moves. Bebe has been gone 13 years! Cannon is going to turn 23 this summer, I am 54! The 7th graders remind me frequently of my age. It is just a number and I plan to be around for a long time if I can do anything about it. There have been horrible years, like the 5 year span from 2019-2024. We kept moving but there was pain, hurt, and anger. The events that took place during that time crushed my spirit. I am not happy with how I handled it.
20 minutes =2.7 miles on the treadmill avg pace 7:25 I hit the benchmark I started
Breakfast banana baked oatmeal, 2 eggs, 1/4 dug out bagel and CC 400 calories and 25g protein
Lunch tuna, wrap(0 carb), lunch meat, ezek, chive CC 500 calories/40g protein
Dinner steak, chick pea patty with sauce, bobos snack 800calories /46g
at least 1700 calories
Burned-1.1 mile with Shadow, 2.7-20 minute run, 1.5 outside and 25 min lifting calories 550 running and 150 lifting plus I cleaned the house and kept moving. The 1/4 bagel and Bobo's thing were both not great but not a deal breaker. To me a cheat meal is a piece of pizza or a complete over the top high calorie type thing like desert or something.
I was so frustrated at Tucker this morning. I called him when I finished running and he was out getting groceries. I said, good because I am starving. He was home when I returned and I saw that he had the big bakery bagels I love. I said that I would have an everything after my shower. I got out ready to eat my everything bagel and there weren't any left. It was nice that he offered it to the kids but what about me? I got over it and had a piece of the parmesan bagel but it was not the same thing.
Workout 1-easy 15 minutes around loop with Shadow, changed shoes then to the gym so I could be sure to hit my pace on the 20 min run. I did 7:25 pace and that was perfect. It was so hot and stuffy in the gym that I went directly out to the track to do my 15 cool down followed by another easy 15 min. 45 minutes of outdoor workout then back inside to finish 25 minutes inside. Lifted deadlifts, bridge, pallof cable, Overhead DB 20# and something else. Like usual I went to the lower body lifts. I need to get the upper body.
Sunday
I could have sworn I wrote all of this but here goes (again)..
After waiting for Campbell to let me know she was all set for pick up from prom I hit the pillow and slept for about 7.5 hours. I was rudely awakened by Cannon's alarm at 5:30 then every 15 minutes for the next hour or so. I decided to just get up and get moving.
Breakfast 1egg 1 white and 2 pieces of ezek with cc= 400 calories /25 g protein
Post run chick pea patty and ginger/lime poppi 500 calories /25g protein
Snack 1/1 Bobo and 2 eggs 220/15g protein
Dinner crackers with hummus, steak, zero wrap, bite of burger, choc 600 calories/42 g protein
1800 calories but I am sure I must have had more. I need a better way to record my food. 107g protein
Run was 5 min warm up around the house. to Gh and back for bathroom, Loon loop-river loop hit the trail at old hole and then maple to Pollard-school trail, Gh and home. grabbed water then it was cool down time for a total of 9.3 miles. I stayed in my zone 2 with a little speed at the end.
