Weekend edition day 40-42 rain...rain...rain GO AWAY

Friday (8 hours sleep) I woke up feeling nauseous. I took my IM8 and electrolytes, but still had a yucky tummy so I saved my eggs and burger for lunch. Why wouldn't I be hungry in the morning? I ran out the door into the rainy morning ready for another Friday. School went well. I got my steps in the rain at morning walk, recess, and freecess. I got word that my job is (probably) safe which makes me very relieved. All my work was not in vain

total 1600 calories and 110 g protein

I am so full all of the time but not satisfied.

Saturday up at 5am only 7.5 hours of sleep but I am sooooo tired.

Breakfast 2 eggs, cottage cheese, pancake                               400 calories and 30g protein                          snack 1 egg, 1/2 bagel cut out, cream cheese with hots         260 calories /11g protein

It might be time to start counting fiber. 30 grams is what I need. 120g protein and 30 g fiber.

Got out early for my goal pace workout. It was pouring rain but out I went. Warm-up 8 min mobility inside, then jog easy for 7 min about .75 out. 15 minutes held onto 7:30. Started slow, alerted that I was going too slow, so picked it up then finally settled into 7:23ish. Around 1.75 my glute/hip began hurting and I did not want to stride out or injure my tired legs any further so when the 15 min was up I kept going but slowed into a pace that allowed my leg a little relief (7:45ish). I was happy to get 2.64 miles in 20 minutes (avg. 7:35 pace). Then cool down with the dogs. They dragged me through the woods to find the perfect poop spot.

I came home, changed and headed to the gym. Warm up deadlift 25#Cossacks with 20#, Pallof with lunge 30# cable, lat pulldown 80#, Bridge 35#DB, banded double clams, then all of these people came in and I totally lost track of my workout. Got in my time and headed home to get the guys ready for their 2nd rainy game in so many days.

Between my run and workout, I took BCAA with l alanine and found out that is what has been making me itchy. I can either take less, or deal with the hot, itchy skin for an hour or so while it works it way out of my system.

Here is something unrelated. I have taught a humanities-based curriculum for my entire homeschool career including Winter Term. Anyway nobody asked me and I wonder if it would be rude to share my plans with our team. Is it considered bragging? I just looked over my lessons. Wow. I was creative and smart and amazing. I really wish I could be her again but how can I bring that level of curiousity to my classes. I will have to get back into reading and studying classical education for science. That is where it is at.

Sunday-May 11

Ran 1 hour 45 minutes, about 9.25 miles this morning. The rain stopped (finally), and the weather was perfect for a long run. After breakfast, we did a quick hike up Jockey Cap.

Breakfast pre-run-ezek cc/rasp, yogurt, walnut, honey                         350 calories 20g protein                  after eggs benedict                                                                                625 calories 37 g protein               protein pudding                                                                                      150 calories 15g protein             dinner salad, evoo, dressing, chicken, rice                                              500 calories and 40g protein

I'd say about 1800 calories and 112g protein
