Day 62 Saturday

 Yesterday afternoon, I was a nervous wreck. Tucker was not feeling well, and they had a pretty big game, insofar as every game is pretty big at this point.  Tuck tried to calm the boys by telling them that they were the underdog and that the other team should be feeling the pressure. Well they were gone, the game started at 6. I just wanted to be busy, so I did not focus on the game or worrying about Tucker having a melt down. Campbell and I went shopping and picked up something for dinner. That helped keep me entertained. Finally around 8:20 I got a text that they had won the game in overtime. phew. Tucker did not feel well and he was drained but no meltdown. The team told him to get his gear on and that they needed him. Sports are about learning. It hurts though when you are learning the lesson the hard way. 

Got to bed around 9:30 and slept until 6. About 8 hours of sleep with a load of REM catch up. I took 2 ashwaganda before bed along with my HRT. Earlier in the day I took apple cider vinegar pills which seemed to help my full bladder feeling or maybe it was that I finally went to the bathroom after taking metamucil yesterday. I also did my belly breathing to relieve that stress. 

Up made cottage cheese pancakes with syrup looked outside and knew this morning's run would be a wet one. At least it is warm out. 

Workout 1 

mobility and run with Shadow-15 min (1 mile) workout 5min hard with 1 minute recovery

1- 0.57=8:47 (with Shadow, he kept stopping so this is not accurate)

2-0.63=7:55 (I think I still had Shadow with me 

or I had to drop off)

3-0.71 =7.00 (This was good. I dropped Shadow grabbed water then headed out. Bradley to 302 around on the sidewalk to MOS. It felt good as I hit my stride) 

4-0.61=8:14 (once again on the trails. Up the dirt path to the neighborhood behind MOS) 

5-0.70=7.06 (This felt good too. I was on the road flying)

6-0.56=8.58 (This was in the trails where I encountered a huge water puddle I had to skirt around)

Cool down 1mile then take the dogs for 2 miles for a total of 7.5 miles. 

3 miles of speed. The two with Shadow were ok but he definitely made it difficult. I was looking for under 8 pace so half of the intervals were on target the other three just need attention to details. No Shadow from now on. Also start running or jogging when my watch is beeping.

Maintenance calories for me an active lifestyle is 1900 calories either reduce calories or add activity for decreasing weight. I don't want to lose more weight. It is time to start putting on muscle.
